What more can one say that hasn’t already been stated ? It is quite obvious that we should get Worrall and Montano into the team as soon as we can but this is by no means the whole answer. Where has the early form of Smith and Legge gone? I know that it is difficult to retain your form for the whole season but they both seem to have also lost some of their ability.
The team members themselves know full well where their strengths and weaknesses lie and it up to them now to show John Askey on the training field who can be selected and relied upon in their next game. If not, I regret to have to say that there would have to be some changes including on the managerial front.
You don’t go from a half decent side to a rubbish side in a matter of seven or eight weeks. Come on Vale !
