Team news: Port Vale make FIVE changes for game against Grimsby Town
Caretaker Port Vale manager Danny Pugh has made five changes for his first game in charge of Port Vale.
In come Tom Conlon, Zak Mills, Cristian Montano, David Worrall and Tom Pope while the returning Conlon is named as captain.
Youngster Ryan Campbell-Gordon comes in from the cold to make the bench where he is alongside transfer-listed striker Theo Robinson.
Veteran Leon Legge is suspended and James Gibbons and Manny Oyeleke remain injured. There is no place in the squad for Harry McKirdy, David Fitzpatrick or Adam Crookes although with Vale suffering at least one positive Covid test any of the trio could be self-isolating.
