The Nottingham Evening Post newspaper says that young forward Kieran Hayes is training with Port Vale FC.
According to the newspaper:
The under-23s striker, who spent time on loan at Truro last season, is understood to have linked up with the Valiants for training this week. And they could turn to Hayes to bolster their attack for the forthcoming season as they chase promotion to League One.
The Valiants have confirmed that they have a number of trialists in their squad which includes forward Harvey Bradbury and goalkeeper Dino Visser.
Port Vale have strong links with Nottingham Forest through former player and agent Phil Sproson. In recent seasons Forest players Jake Taylor, Adam Crookes and Tyler Walker have had spells with the Valiants.
