How many trophies have Port Vale won?
Port Vale FC have won two domestic trophies since their formation. In 1993, the club won its first-ever domestic trophy when it won the Football League Trophy (called the Autoglass Trophy due to a sponsorship deal) at the old Wembley stadium. The side defeated Stockport County 2-1 in front of 35,885 fans on the 22nd May 1993. The goalscorers for the Valiants were Paul Kerr and Bernie Slaven.
The second domestic trophy won by the club was also the Football League Trophy. Now called the LDV Vans Trophy final, it was played at the Millennium stadium as Wembley stadium was being rebuilt. The Valiants again triumphed 2-1 on the 22nd April 2001. It was played in front of 25,654 fans and the opponents were Brentford. The goalscorers for the Valiants were Marc Bridge-Wilkinson and Steve Brooker.
