Port Vale heading for sold-out away section for trip to Manchester City
Port Vale are close to selling out their entire 8,000 allocation of away tickets for their FA Cup third round tie against Manchester City.
At present, tickets are only on sale to season ticket holders but the Valiants have already reached over 6,500 tickets sold by Tuesday evening. It means the Valiants are on course to take their largest away following since the 2006 FA Cup tie against Aston Villa.

It is now looking increasingly likely that the tickets will sell out before they go on general sale on Sunday morning.
The Valiants reached the third round after away victories over MK Dons and Cheltenham Town and are set to be rewarded for their efforts with third round revenue of around £350,000.
Vale last played the FA Cup holders back in 1999 when it finished 2-1 to City at Vale Park. The two sides have met once before in the FA Cup when again it finished 2-1 to Man City.
