Rumour: Port Vale make bid for Northern Irish striker
Port Vale have been linked with Institute’s eighteen goal striker Michael McCrudden.
The striker has earned considerable praise for his performances this season and has been linked to a number of clubs.
Rivals Coleraine have made a bid and Glenavon and Ballymena United are also considering a move for the 27-year-old.
Vale are clearly looking to the Northern Irish market having made an unsuccessful bid for midfielder Mark Sykes and are keen to boost their striking options following the news that Tom Pope is out injured for several weeks.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, Vale have made a bid for the striker. The newspaper says the player will decide on his next move this week.
