Port Vale are close to signing a further forward in January transfer window, the Sentinel reports.
The Valiants recently added Cardiff City striker Mark Harris on loan.
However, with top-scorer Tom Pope injured, Dior Angus on loan to Barrow and Danny Elliott inexperienced at this level, Vale are seeking further recruits.
The newspaper claims that a new signing may not be sealed before Saturday’s game against Carlisle United but may be in place for Tuesday’s fixture against Newport County.
Vale have added Adam Crookes, Elliott and Harris so far during the transfer window.
