Port Vale manager aims to replace departed loan trio
Manager Neil Aspin says he is aiming for at least three additions to his squad during the January transfer window.
The Valiants have lost Scott Quigley, Idris Kanu and Lewis Hardcastle who have all been recalled by their parent clubs.
Minimum we would like to replace at least those three players who have gone back…
When asked about replacements Aspin told the media: “We need some. I do think it will just freshen things up a bit and we have had three loan players who have gone back. So, minimum we would like to replace at least those three players who have gone back.
“We speak to a lot of people and there are plenty of players that we would’ve gladly taken, including one that we would’ve liked to get in this week, but it hasn’t happened.
“You’ve just got to keep trying until the window closes.”
