Port Vale linked with QPR defender move
The media in West London says Port Vale is one of two clubs looking to sign QPR’s right-back Osman Kakay.
Vale have already made one loan signing, that of Kyle Howkins, despite the departure of manager Neil Aspin on Wednesday.
The West London Sport website says:
QPR youngster Osman Kakay could join Newport County or Port Vale on loan in a late deal ahead of the transfer deadline.
Kakay, 21, has long been among the fringe players Rangers have been lining up for a loan move during this month’s transfer window.
And attempts to secure the right-back a chance to play first-team football elsewhere were continuing in the final hours of the transfer window.
Kakay has made seven appearances for QPR this season but has not featured in the league since September.
