Glover had scored in the first-half strike but goals from Wayne Brooksby and James Walshaw had given the hosts a 2-1 lead.
However, Glover converted a cross from another former Valiant, James Lawrie,on 83 minutes to spark a frantic finale. And the former Vale striker then planted a superb header past Scarborough keeper Tommy Taylor on 85 minutes to snatch all three points.
