Watch: Idris Kanu happy to join Port Vale
The recent signing spoke to the official Port Vale website after agreeing a loan move to the Valiants.
The Peterborough forward commented: “I am going to do everything I can in training to get fit and sharp so that I have a chance of playing or starting in that match.
“For the first game of the season I want to be starting and that is my aim. Supporters can expect to see lots of goals, assists and good performances.
“I was with Ricky Miller at Peterborough, he is a good player and I know he can do well – hopefully he can prove that this season.
“Personally, I am just so happy to be here, but I hope I fit in well and show the other lads what I can do to make it a good year.
“I want to score goals and I want to get assists, but the main thing is that I want to be playing. That is my biggest target, to play regularly.”
