Neil Aspin praises Connell Rawlinson
Port Vale manager Neil Aspin has praised new defender Connell Rawlinson.
The former TNS defender played the entire ninety minutes of Vale’s friendly against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.
He has acquitted himself well, he has a real determination to do well and he wants to progress…
The 26 year-old has no Football League experience although he does have experience of European cup competitions with his former side.
Aspin told the media: “Although it is only a pre-season friendly, it was a big step for him from where he was playing to playing against Blackburn. He has acquitted himself well, he has a real determination to do well and he wants to progress.
“So, it will give him confidence that he has played for the first time at his home ground, against good opposition, and he has acquitted himself well.”
