Colin Garlick says Port Vale could add sixth loan player
Port Vale CEO Colin Garlick says he is confident that the club could add a sixth player on loan before the end of the transfer window.
The move would mean that the Valiants can only use five of the loanees (currently Rekeil Pyke, Ben Whitfield, Marcus Harness, Tyler Denton and Jack Stobbs are on loan) in a matchday squad.
Garlick told the Port Vale Supporters Club meeting: “I have made a firm offer to one club anyway. That one is a young player. We just have to be careful with that because, as you are probably aware, we can only have five loan players and we already have five in the building.
“But if we can get the right deal we will do it – I do expect at least one more signing before next Thursday.”
