Port Vale CEO says manager is happy with playing budget
Port Vale CEO Colin Garlick says that manager Michael Brown is happy with the club’s “competitive” playing budget.
The playing budget has been reduced since Vale’s promotion but Garlick told Six Towns Radio that it remained competitive.
He told the radio station: “He knows exactly what it is and is quite happy with it. He is aware of what we are competing against in League Two, as are we, because we have done our homework on that.
“We didn’t know exactly who was who, but we knew what the total was that the 24 clubs were spending, from the highest to the lowest.”
