Michael Brown hoping to stay and prove he can be a success
Interim manager Michael Brown says he wants to “prove to everyone” that he can build a good team but it will need major changes to the squad.
Brown has been in charge since the New Year but has yet to be confirmed as the club’s permanent manager.
think with the staff I have, and the contacts, we will hope to get a team that Vale are proud of and play with passion…
He told the Sentinel: “I want to prove to everybody that I can build a good team. It will be tough, whichever league that is in, League One or Two.
“It is going to need 16 new players again so it is a full rebuild.
“I think with the staff I have, and the contacts, we will hope to get a team that Vale are proud of and play with passion like I always did and have. I think that’s the aim, the plan, but hopefully we can start that and I look forward to that challenge, whether it be League One or League Two.
“Hopefully it is League One.”
