Michael Brown keen to extend Ryan Taylor deal
Port Vale caretaker manager Michael Brown says he is keen to extend veteran Ryan Taylor’s contract.
Taylor joined on a short-term deal in October but his current contract will expire after Vale’s game against Bury.
Brown told the media: “Ryan has ambitions to maybe play as high as he can or in another country, possibly America. But he is certainly committed to the cause at the moment with Port Vale. We have offered him and we want him to stay.
“He certainly likes playing for Port Vale and if he is not leaving the country, or going into much higher or bigger opportunities, then he will certainly love to be with us.”
Taylor has made 14 appearances for the club scoring three times.
