Axel Prohouly player profile:
Young teenage French winger Axel Prohouly joined Port Vale FC in January 2017 on loan from Queens Park Rangers alongside team mate Olamide Shopido. The joint loan move took place on the final day of the 2017 transfer window – January 31st – and was originally supposed to last until the end of the season.
However, while his team mate Shopido rapidly made the Valiants first-team and impressed, Prohouly’s loan spell was ended early without him making a single senior appearance for the club. A prolific scorer for the QPR reserve team, he also failed to make a senior appearance for Queens Park Rangers during his three year spell with the London club.
Prohouly, who started his career at French side Monaco, was later released by parent club Queens Park Rangers and moved back to French league football with spells at Lorient, Racing Club de France and a second spell at Lorient.
