Port Vale to reward the 261 fans who travelled to Wimbledon
Port Vale have announced that the 261 fans who travelled to the Wimbledon away fixture will have the opportunity of watching a game for free or upgrading their ticket.
The Valiants were thrashed 4-0 on Saturday and the club clearly feel that this gesture will reward the supporters who travelled fruitlessly to the game.
A club statement said:
As a goodwill gesture by Port Vale, supporters who attended the game against Wimbledon at the weekend will have an opportunity to watch the Vale for free or upgrade.
On production of the match ticket stub, season ticket holders have the choice of either upgrading to a corporate seat at the home game against Chesterfield on Friday 30th December, or a free match ticket for our FA Cup fixture against Huddersfield Town on Saturday 7th January.
Non-season ticket holders will be given the opportunity of a free match ticket for the Chesterfield game, on production of the match ticket stub from the Wimbledon game.
Supporters who travelled to the game with the Official Port Vale Travel will not need to produce a ticket stub.
