Cup curse? Vale have failed to win the last ten Sunday FA Cup ties
OVF research shows that Port Vale’s FA Cup record on Sundays is appalling – with the club last winning a game twenty eight years ago.
Over that time, Vale have played TEN FA Cup games on a Sunday and have yet to win a single one.
The stat will worry fans ahead of this weekend’s second round game – which is due to take place on a Sunday. Supporters will be hoping that awful run will end against Hartlepool United.
