Brown: new arrivals need time to toughen up
Port Vale assistant manager Michael Brown has appealed for patience as the club’s new signings need time to aadapt to the physical style of League One.
Brown believes that striker Rigino Cicilia is one of the players who needs time to adapt and Vale’s assistant manager told the Sentinel: “He is a young boy so he will do something great and then not so great, so he still needs to learn his way around the football pitch.
“He needs to get a bit tougher. I keep getting into them – a bit soft I keep telling them!
“It’s a different game here, it is a contact game and he has to get used to that physical side of it. It will be the same for a few of them.”
