Drama over as “grenade” is no threat to public
The Sentinel has reported that Police have declared the grenade found at Vale Park to be a training device and no threat to the public.
Police were called at around 8pm on Monday after children uncovered the training grenade in undergrowth on the club’s car park.
The device was found by a group of boys looking for their football and Staffordshire Police believe it was a training device from the Second World War era and is therefore no threat to the public.
