Rival clubs interested in striker Anton Forrester
Port Vale may face competition from Stevenage and Morecambe as the Valiants weigh up a move for former Blackburn forward Anton Forrester.
Vale are clearly in pole position as Forrester is training with the club after the expiration of his contract at Ewood Park.
Currently a free agent, numerous clubs have supposedly shown an interest in acquiring Forrester’s services.
The news broke on Sunday that Forrester was training with Vale, however the 22-year-old has not yet been offered a contract by Valiants boss Bruno Ribeiro.
If no deal is struck between the two parties, League Two sides Morecambe and Stevenage, both whom have both recently been linked with Forrester, could swoop in secure the youngster’s signature.
