Ribeiro interested in Tyson deal but only if funds allow it
Port Vale manager Bruno Ribeiro has said he would be interested in signing Vale trialist Nathan Tyson if the club can afford to do so.
Tyson played a substitute in Vale’s friendly draw with Wolves and Ribeiro told the Sentinel: “Nathan Tyson is a very good player, experienced and gives us something different.
“I like him so much and I would like him to stay longer. I will have to speak to the chairman to see if there is enough money left in the budget.”
However, that money could be a problem as chairman Norman Smurthwaite tweeted in reply to a question from a fan:
