Press claim Shrewsbury are in talks with Louis Dodds
The Shropshire Star newspaper says that Shrewsbury Town have been in talks with out-of-contract Vale forward Louis Dodds.
The newspaper says: And it’s understood Town have opened talks with both him and 27-year-old striker Novak, who has been released by Birmingham City after a season on loan at Chesterfield.
Dodds is the club’s longest-serving player and has often expressed his desire to extend his spell at Vale Park to ten years, so the news comes as something of a surprise.
However, Dodds, like other Vale players could be affected by the departure of manager Rob Page earlier this week.
