Port Vale trio are doubtful for Rochdale game
Rob Page could be reluctantly forced into major changes for the home game against Rochdale.
The Vale boss would have been hopeful of keeping faith with the first-team regulars who secured two wins against Crewe and Gillingham but injuries and suspension threaten that.
Anthony Grant definitely misses out through suspension and the midfielder could be joined on the sidelines by top-scorer AJ Leitch-Smith, Louis Dodds and Ben Purkiss.
If any of those three miss out then JJ Hooper, Sam Kelly and Adam Yates would all come into contention.
Meanwhile, veteran Michael Brown is expected to replace Grant.
