Rob Page: Sometimes you have to win ugly…
Manager Rob Page conceded that it “wasn’t the best performance” as his side beat Swindon 1-0 on Tuesday night.
Page told the media: “It wasn’t the best performance but I’m really pleased with the three points. Sometimes you have to win ugly and that was the case tonight.

“Clean sheets are very important because they give you the foundation to win games and I thought our defensive discipline was outstanding from start to finish.
“But we were far too sloppy with our passing and decision-making in the second half. Our counter-attacking play was very poor and we wasted some excellent opportunities to put the game to bed.
“On another day we could have won by three or four but to win when you play quite badly in some areas is a good sign.
“We thought we could take advantage because Swindon had a couple of injuries but you still have to respect they have scored a lot of goals. Thankfully we were rock solid at the back.”
