Moore good news for Vale ahead of cup clash
Port Vale could face an interesting selection quandry after Byron Moore handed the club a fitness boost.
Moore was injured during the 2-0 win over Blackpool but in his absence Chris Birchall has scored in two consecutive games.
We are confident that he is going to be right and ready to go…
Manager Rob Page told the Sentinel: “Byron will be in the equation for the weekend. He has reacted in a positive manner to the work he’s done and we still have a few days yet before the game.
“We are confident that he is going to be right and ready to go. There are no other injuries from Saturday which is pleasing.”
Vale will be forced into at least one change with captain Carl Dickinson suspended. Ryan McGivern will move across to left-back with either Remie Streete or Ben Purkiss coming into the defence.
