Port Vale owner hints at another high-profile signing
Norman Smurthwaite tweets that his “sweets jar is being broken in the morning” as speculation of a new signing mounts.
The “sweetie jar” analogy has been used to indicate when Smurthwaite is himself prepared to fund a new signing.

Port Vale have been linked with Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss in the past and it could be that the defender is the target in mind.
