Kevin Bartlett player profile:
Kevin Barlett was a pacy forward who was signed on loan by Port Vale from Notts County in 1993. He scored once during his spell – in a 2-0 home win over Chester City in September – and made five appearances in total before returning to his parent club.
Bartlett began his career with Portsmouth in 1980 but played just a handful of games for the club. After leaving Pompey he then played nearly 200 times for non-league side Fareham Town before returning to League football in 1986. He then had spells with Cardiff City, West Bromwich Albion and Notts County.
He finished his career with a one year spell at Cambridge United but then retired from playing due to injury. During his thirteen year playing career he made 431 appearances and scored 162 goals. He also won two promotions – one with Cardiff City and the other with Notts County
