All-change for crucial Colchester clash?
Rob Page is set to make a number of changes as Vale face Colchester United on Friday.
The Valiants need to take something from the game to prevent the side slipping into the relegation zone and it is set to be a much changed Vale side on Friday.
Goalkeeper Chris Neal is definitely missing after the club rightly decided not to appeal what looked to be a clearcut sending-off against Orient. Sam Johnson is set to deputise.
Meanwhile, Byron Moore is ruled out which means Saturday’s goalscorer Chris Birchall is likely to compete with loanee Mohamed Coulibaly for a place on the flank.
Another Vale loanee Junior is doubtful with a hamstring problem and could be replaced by the returning veteran Michael Brown while Vale may decide to make changes both upfront and in their leaky defence. If so, the likes of Adam Yates, Ryan McGivern, Achille Campion and Ben Williamson will be hoping for starting places.
