Smurthwaite happy with transfer deals
Port Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite says that he has “been able to deliver what Micky Adams has asked for” after the club concluded its transfer business with the signing of striker Achille Campion.
Vale have added ten new faces to the club over the summer although they did miss out on forward Craig Westcarr and Smurthwaite commented: “We missed out on Westcarr, but I am pleased that I have been able to deliver what Micky Adams has asked for. Now it’s over to him.”
