Neal: Results will come

Goalkeeper Chris Neal has backed the Vale to pick up more league points – just so long as the side continue to play attacking football.

The goalkeeper, who was outstanding against Bury in midweek told the Sentinel: “We’ll look at how we played and the results we got last season away from home. The quicker we can pick up that form, the better.

“We conceded too many goals for my liking last year, but I had to put up with that to a certain extent.

“We were scoring so many goals it did leave us a bit open at the back, but so long as we are putting them in at the other end, I am happy.”
