Vale announce betting partner and stand sponsor

A report in the Football Trade Directory website has praised “innovative” Port Vale for becoming the first Football League club to announce a deal with Betbright.com. Under the terms of the agreement, Betbright.com will also sponsor the Railway stand.

Port Vale are a club on the rise and we are excited to be part of what will be an exciting season for the fans and the club…

According to the report, the deal will make BetBright.com the club’s main betting partner and will enable in-stadium betting at Vale Park.

BetBright will also sponsor the Railway Stand.

As part of the deal, in addition to an upfront payment, Vale will get benefit financially from every fan that signs up to the service.

The club will also qualify for bonuses in future years depending on the activity of the fans, regardless of what team they are betting on.

Port Vale owner, Norman Smurthwaite told the Football Trade Directory: “We have been impressed with the offering from BetBright whose approach has been refreshing compared to other potential betting partners. Some of the recent league deals haven’t really worked for smaller clubs like Vale.

‘This deal though is individually tailored to Vale and I will be the first to open an account. Betting is an integral part of a Saturday for many fans and this deal is very much about having a bit of fun but only betting what you can afford to lose.’

“Port Vale are a club on the rise and we are excited to be part of what will be an exciting season for the fans and the club,” Betbright Chairman Rob Hartnett told the website.

“Betbright looks at betting from the fans point of view, and we will be delivering the best odds and the best kinds of bets to Vale fans throughout the season via online, mobile, tablet and around the ground.”
