Adams: ‘Maybe one or two more’ will leave
Manager Micky Adams has hinted that more players may be on the move out of Vale Park following Clayton McDonald’s loan switch to Bristol Rovers.
The Valiants have brought in four new players during the January transfer window and the additions may see some players depart Vale Park.
Adams told the newspaper that “maybe one or two will depart, possibly on loans” and that “hopefully, we now have a squad that will take the club where it wants to go.”
With Vale’s squad now significantly larger than it was at the start of the season a number of players may look to loan moves to ensure some regular first-team football.
Youngsters Joe Davis, Sam Johnson, Ryan Lloyd and Kingsley James may all benefit from moves as they continue their footballing development, while squad players Chris Shuker, Rob Taylor, Louis Dodds and Sam Morsy may also be tempted by the chance of regular selection elsewhere.
