Valiants waiting on Football League approval
According to BBC Radio Stoke, the takeover by Paul Wildes and Norman Smurthwaite is imminent as the club are now just waiting on confirmation from the Football League.
Wildes and Smurthwaite were named as the club’s preferred bidders on October 16th. The club has been in administration since the 14th March.
The deadline for the deal expires at midnight, but according to BBC Radio Stoke, all that is now required for the deal to be completed is the official confirmation from the Football League that they have approved Wildes and Smurthwaite’s “fit and proper persons” submissions.
We will try and provide you with the latest news if and when that confirmation is received.
