Haldane ‘agrees’ new Port Vale deal
A tweet on the social networking site Twitter indicates that Port Vale winger is close to or has agreed a new deal with the Valiants.
The injury-plagued winger has endured a wretched time during the last two seasons. In 2010, he was laid low by an insect bite that caused him to miss a portion of that season and last season he suffered an awful double leg break during the JPT tie with Tranmere.

Haldane is now back in full first-team training and manager Micky Adams included him on the retained list for next season.
The 27 year-old winger, who joined Vale in 2009 from Bristol Rovers, send a tweet on Friday evening that said: “just signed for 6 months up here…”
If he does sign the Welsh winger will become the fifth Port Vale player that is under contract for the new season.
