OVF digest #2
We have quite a few requests sent to OVF Towers that don’t justify a dedicated article of their own, so we include them here in a weekly digest feature.
This week’s bumper digest features – a chance to buy a unique piece of art, classic memorabilia from the Supporters Club and a chance to see Akpo in action…
OVF is not just about Port Vale, we are happy to promote all good causes, especially (but not exclusively) those which are Stoke-on-Trent or football related. If you want us to promote your good cause, please give us plenty of notice and email us at [email protected] All suitable messages will be displayed in our weekly digest feature.
Own a unique piece of Port Vale artwork
We’ve been contacted by Theartbay to inform us of the “Fans United” painting by local artist Sid Kirkham. The paining was inspired after the artist saw a photo in The Sentinel newspaper showing a StokeCityfan among Vale fans at ValePark. All proceeds from the work will go to the #Save the Vale fund. If you want to make a bid for the picture, please contact Theartbay through [email protected] or call 01782 844222.
Here’s an image of the completed work:
Supporters Club remember the Rudge night
The Supporters Club have been very high profile recently (and well done them!) but they’ve been in existence for a long time. They’ve recently uploaded a video of the John Rudge tribute night (Rob was there along with other members of the then Valemail email list and it was an unforgettable night). Go to this page and bring back some happy memories:
