Bill Bratt says he’ll stand down at end of season
Bill Bratt has told the Sentinel that he intends to stand down as chairman and CEO at the end of the season.
Bratt told the newspaper: “As long as the club are on a safe financial footing, it would be nice to let somebody else do the job,” said Bratt, who will be presented with his MBE at Buckingham Palace today.
“I want to give it up in the foreseeable future.
“I’m considering stepping down in the next 12 months or so, because of issues to do with quality of life, the pressure of the job and for health and family reasons. But I will only do so if the club is in good hands if it is on a stable financial footing and if the right ethics are in place which are required to keep it safe in the future.”
