Martin Foyle quits as Port Vale manager
Martin Foyle quits: Port Vale have announced that manager Martin Foyle has left the club by mutual consent.
The Valiants are currently in 23rd place in League One with only five points from their opening seven matches.
Assistant manager Dean Glover will now take charge of the team for Saturday’s home game against Southend.
Foyle told the official Port Vale website: “I have been in charge for three-and-a-half years and have enjoyed the management role and have learnt so much in a short space of time.
“The time is now right for me to go my own way.”
Foyle was in charge of the club for 184 games with a win ratio of 37%.
