Port Vale sign Marc Goodfellow
Martin Foyle has made his first move in the transfer market after the sale of striker Steve Brooker. Foyle has snapped up winger Marc Goodfellow on loan, ironically from Brooker’s new club – Bristol City.
Goodfellow will be well-known to many Vale supporters, the midfielder having started his career at neighbours Stoke City.
He moved to Bristol City in 2004 for a fee of £50,000 but he has failed to establish himself in the first-team picture at Ashton Gate despite four goals in just seven first-team starts.
Goodfellow, who can play on both flanks or upfront has joined the Vale on an initial month’s loan.
