A former Manchester City youth player, striker Alex Nimely had loan spells with Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and Coventry before he was released in the summer of 2014.
He then joined Port Vale, for what would be a controversial spell, in November 2014. He signed a deal until the end of the season but made one senior appearance for the Valiants and was released by the club in May 2015 after multiple breaches of club discipline.
