Chris Birchall, Trinidad and Tobago, 27 caps, 3 goals
The only current Port Vale player to appear at a World Cup finals (2006) he qualified through his mother. Birchall retired from the side in 2013.
Tony Rougier, Trinidad and Tobago, 20, 1
Signed in 1999 a prolific T&T schedule saw Rougier became the club’s most capped player despite him only spending 18 months at the club. He was then overtaken by compatriot Birchall.
Sammy Morgan, Northern Ireland, 7, 2
Morgan scored on his Northern Irish debut (versus Spain in 1972) and added a further goal against Cyprus. For many years the powerful striker was the club’s record International appearances holder.
George Abbey, Nigeria, 6, 0
The right-back played a number of African Cup games for his country.

In 1922 the goalkeeper became the first Vale player to receive an International cap.
