I think hes worth a new contract in the summer, probably on relative peanuts and one we can still develop.

Good move I hope Dan scores a shed load for The Lambs. He has great potential but this is his chance he must make the most of it

Aspin knows what he's doing ,I reckon that's a good move for the lad.

Good news. Good for Dan and good for the Vale, I think he has real potential and could make it, this will be great experience and I'd like to see him force his way into the first team before the end of this season and hopefully bag a few more to add to his current three. At 19 he has a lot of development left in him.

I'd agree. Looked sharp at the start of the season - I hope this enables him to grab a few goals and make the manager sit up and notice him. It certainly worked for Jordan Hugill when he was at loan at Gateshead (I wonder where he is now... )

Many fans thought he should have been the main striker at beginning of the season,Pope has played so good he hasn't had a chance but hope he comes back a stronger more knowledgable striker and is one day our new Popey.
