Matchday Thread: EFLT Port Vale v Shrewsbury Town

Tough hurdle, will Dodds come back to haunt us? Shooting boots are required - it is better to shoot and miss than not to shoot at all. At least a chance to try out a couple of different players, chance for Turner? Better to save Whitfield for Saturday or use the 20 minutes to improve his match preparedness? Maybe a different keeper?

One things for sure, if Shrews play anything like a full strength team we won’t be in the next round.

Missing this due to going to see Shed Seven and Cast at the Viccy Hall.
Will keep an eye on the score but still apathetic about this competition at the moment.
I guess it depends how seriously both managers take it.
Both have far bigger fish to fry in the league.

Not looking forward to this game at all.It has very little appeal at all.

Having seen what ive seen from the squad thus far id be tempted try this team .
    Hornby
    Wilson Gunning Anderson Pugh
    Gibbons Tonge
    Worrall Adf Denton
    Pope
Love the way Gibbons puts his foot in and his overall passing game is good along with Tonge who can pass it well then them two in central midfield is the way go .
Worrall and Denton loads of energy and no lack of desire and Adf who has being overlooked told to get up alongside the Pope and score and create .
He cannot really tackle as such but i think he deserved a goal when he came on earlier in Aspos regime .
Try that i think u may be pleasantly surprised .

Won't be going this one for obvious reasons. Think we will get hammered.

Not really bothered about this stupid competition really. But a win could be positive and good for confidence.

Having missed the last few games for various reasons I just might go to this one.
