If our team was just 20% as passionate as our fans we'd win 60% of our matches.

Not too shabby considering the pathetic season we had last year, though I think the performance today will knock a bit off the next gate.

Well, considering it's Crwho next, maybe not but if we lose that one (which i'm dreading that we will do) then maybe so.

    Credit where its due,

Just seen midlands today news and it focussed on haywood school who were giving free school meals out of term time and was supported by port vale community activities ,nice one and good exposure shows we are more than just a football club.

Yes i thought the crowd was ok in number was expecting 4500 so 4990 or whatever it was was good .
There was a air of quietness though be expected after the mauling we took at Leeds and the events of last 12 months .
The performance wont have any floaters coming back anytime soon ,even season ticket holders myself included r questioning our sanity at buying to watch such mediocrity.
We love them though so mediocre or not they r our **** and we must continue to go .

And to think some were making bets (but not paying out) on us having less than 1000 season ticket holders this season. Mentioning nO namesS

I think the atmosphere was flat because we conceded after 2 minutes and it became clear that the players didn't have a clue what they were meant to do.
