Matchday Thread: FA2 Port Vale v Hartlepools U

Definitely a high stakes match, always the small chance of a money spinner in round 3, First job is to get there with a depleted squad, it should be possible with a positive attitude, but who knows what will happen.

    Hartlepools?

It's a good job we aren't playing Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic or Swansea Town.

All of us want a good FA Cup run but we know how badly we have been playing recently, especially away from home. If we can't beat Hartlepool Utd at home then we are really are in dire trouble. If it goes to a Replay then again not confident we will be in the next round especially if the opposition in the next round happens to be a Big Club.

Would we have Grant, Thomas and Foley back for January, maybe a couple of signings, keep Jones, Smith and Streete. Quite a lot hinging on one game?

It'll be fine. Macc Lad is going.
He's been to the Gillingham, Millwall, Scunthorpe and Oxford games.
    Good omen!
