Matchday Thread: Bolton Wanderers v Port Vale

Please post on this thread your pre-match, match, and post match comments.

Amidst all the signing and management meeting speculation, surely the priority is an investigation into the personalities of the team. Please can we have Hyde playing in the first half instead of Jekyll.

Difficult game coming up, however football is full of shocks and surprises, which gives us pain and joy so how about a 3-3 draw?

Maybe, but would it be even better if we were playing them on Tuesday?

No chance of that away if we don't do it at home!

4-5-1 away under Rudgie worked at the time,we know he wont go 4-4-2 away from home and his favoured system isn't working

Well im sure this game will be well attended by the Vale following so hopefully we r at it all 90 as usually when we take over 1k away support Bury Wigan we fold like a pack of cards .
My daughters birthday so i aint going but the lads i usually go on awaydays ( very few as its a waste of money ,good days though)r going so i hope we manage a draw at least for them although they will be to drunk care .
id go with after that defensive horror show again .
    Alnwick
    Purkiss Streete Smith Knopps
    Tavares Grant Taylor
    Thomas
    Cecelia Mbamba
A strange formation but the energy levels of thomas and Mbamba up the field v Oxford and positivity once receiving the ball were two of the main reasons for the excellent comeback on sat .
Utv Hart is no left back play him there expect get hammered and Mcintosh is no right back although v Charlton he wasnt to bad but on sat he ruined that theory .
Purkiss and Knopps reinstated id go with Taylor has the ability to play anywhere so a midfield role for him .
We can carry no passengers for this game or any other but lately 5/11 r not at it for the whole 90 and they need be or else.
