  1. I dont think it was quite the Huddersfield fanbase tbf and as i have said before, they aren't doing much better since he left...given time he improves squads,he wasn't given time at Huddersfield and hasn't had time here yet
  2. I aren't that sure Santa,i do think he will know a budget for both scenarios( I guess if he stays then it will be a decent League 2 budget or else why would he stay). I actually think Carol now knows what a balls up she has made and so despite what some think about what the budget will be,I think she wants to try and get us back up at the first attempt(hard that is though) whatever the cost.... only my opinion
  3. If Moore had got Ollie and Alfie and even the lad Thomas to some extent i dont think things would be as bad as they are now
  4. Moore certainly hasn't set the world alight at Vale that's for sure and i honestly thought he would do more BUT I am not in the Moore out camp yet considering what he has inherited.... some harp on about his time at Huddersfield but seem to just dismiss Sheff Wed/WBA and Doncaster those other clubs alone shows to me that he can manage teams well,as for Huddersfield they seem to still be struggling without him so they may have had the same issues as us just a <ovf censored> squad. I am sure that Moore will stay and try to build a team that suits him and to improve his current reputation again IF he is given the tools to do so. Either way whoever is in charge it needs a MAJOR rebuild this summer and Carol cannot afford any mistakes at all this time.
  5. Each to their own,I agree the past couple of seasons have been shockers(well this one a disaster) but just wondering what makes you say you can only see us being bottom half of league two without knowing what the plans are etc
  6. I haven't cut mine up but not sure if i will go tonight, just cant face it after Sat but will watch on ifollow tbh but me and my lad will be renewing any way, always planned to as cant help myself The frozen prices dont seem to bad i guess when i think someone said Crewe's are 380 and another club(cant remember which) is 420,they were never going to drop them
  7. Totally agree ST I would also like to see what he can build here(DM) after all surely he cant be sacked for not getting a tune out of the crap we have here right now. As for Ainsworth I aren't 100% convinced with him for some reason, personally if we are to have money to build in the summer and DM left then i would poach Williamson from MK Dons his stats stand out tbf, would he come, doubt it but you dont know unless you try.... BUT I am happy for Moore to start the season with HIS team
  8. I noticed that the number 25 Alli who ripped us a new one on saturday with his pace and 2 goals was signed by them from Halifax in January,so it shows you can certainly pick up players from the National League
  9. Spot on imo,he said for the first time in his interview how angry he was and also stating about the players mentality We have to allow him to start next season with HIS own players(not ones DF had lined up for this summer),HIS own style,HIS own formation surely dont we
  10. Someone on twitter seems to think we will spend 500k on a player(striker) 😮 🙂 as investment will be made but not from Carol so the rumours are starting already
  11. Personally I think he will take on the challenge with HIS own players,he wont want to manage in League 2 that is a fact and for me that's why he will want to get us straight back up if possible, also to repair his reputation
  12. He actually said in his interview after the game that he was angry, that's the first time I have heard him say that I think he has tried the nice approach to try and get the best out of them knowing despite being under contract many wont be here next season,so he couldn't come out and say how angry he has been or that most will be gone hoping they put effort in for the cause which they did for a short while but now they have just given up so he might as well say it. As i have said I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now and allow HIM to build his team in the summer and then see what he can do,am I happy with his decisions at the moment .. no obviously not
  13. They were starting anyway and Loft was on the bench but he never warmed up during the game or at half time so my guess was that he took a knock or tweaked something in the warm up before the game
  14. It makes no difference at all what people say about Moore as it wont change anything,he will most certainly get given the start of next season,i aren't happy with a lot of whats gone on but i will give him the time to get HIS players in and then judge him on that,up until the last 2 games he had steadied us even with the squad he has inherited(including todays excellent first half),the rest was a shambles. However he took Uche off because he was dead on his feet, the problem was we have no other striker if Loft suffered a knock in the warm up and that shows how disgraceful recruitment has been and that part certainly isn't DM's fault
  15. Oh well,we just have to hope now for a complete overhaul of the squad .. how we do that with so many under contract though is anyones guess
