The Port Vale Supporters Club claim that potential owner Keith Ryder has still not completed his deal despite Ryder asking for the deadline to be extended until Wednesday.
Port Vale FC’s administrators Begsbie Traynor have announced that they are talking to other interested parties after preferred bidder Keith Ryder missed Tuesday’s deadline to complete. However, the administrators do say that Ryder remains as one of the potential candidates to take over the club.
The Sentinel is reporting that potential owner Keith Ryder has asked for a further 24 hours to complete his deal – but the club’s administrators have not revealed if they have accepted his request.
Administrator Bob Young has told the Sentinel that it is time for potential owner Keith Ryder to “put up or shut up” and that “I am treating what he says with a fair bit of scepticism.” Young’s remarks will only heighten fans’ fears that the Ryder deal is on the brink of collapse.
