Peterborough confirm Vale interest in Morais plus “fee agreed” for Miller
Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has given an update to the media with a couple of comments bound to interest Vale fans.
Port Vale have been strongly linked with forward duo Junior Morais and Ricky Miller who have both been transfer listed by Posh.
Vale manager Neil Aspin has stressed that the club need to bring in more forwards to support top-scorer Tom Pope.
According to the Peterborough Telegraph, Fry’s update on the duo was:
Junior Morias: Interest from Crawley, Northampton, Stevenage and Ebbsfleet. Also a ‘conversation’ with Port Vale. No acceptable bids received yet.
Ricky Miller: As soon as his court case is over he is expected to leave. A fee has been agreed with a League Two club.
Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite claimed earlier this month that Vale had agreed a deal with an unknown forward. However, there is no guarantee that the new arrival is Miller as Vale have also been strongly linked with Northampton striker Billy Waters.
